This past weekend, Titan Racing delivered a powerful reminder of why we’re one of the most dominant teams in California. From the brutal climbs of the State Championship Road Race to the high-speed chaos of the Triton Criterium, the team came with a plan—and left with victories, jerseys, and an unforgettable story about a rogue piece of wire.


🏆 Saturday: State Championship Road Race – Boulevard

The wind, the climbs, and the relentless pace couldn’t stop us. Chris McDonald attacked and earned the 45–49 State Championship title, while Karl Bordine took top honors in the 50–54 category. It was a tactical and disciplined race—executed to perfection.



🚴‍♂️ Sunday: Triton Criterium – Controlled Chaos

The crit racing at Triton was nothing short of surgical. Titan Racing completely owned both the 45+ and 35+ fields.

45+ Recap:

  • Chris McDonald showed why he’s the weekend’s MVP, lapping the field with raw power.

  • Noah and Karl Bordine worked the break and locked in 2nd and 3rd, sealing a full Titan podium.

35+ Recap:

  • Chris wasn’t done yet. He lapped the field again—but with a twist. Mid-race, a loud clicking from his rear wheel turned out to be a long piece of wire embedded in his tire.

  • Despite the mechanical surprise, the tire held, and so did Chris’s focus. Absolute warrior.

  • Phil Tinstman broke away from the field and clinched 2nd place, wrapping the weekend in style.
